@marcusplugged Sorry but I got to argue to the contrary there. My #googleplus stream is generally so busy I struggle keeping up with it, I think its only ever as good as both the people you circle and the amount you contribute.
I know i interact with other poster posting comments and advice (when asked) and basically only trying to post in a positive way. I find that generally elicits a positive result. I know for a fact I can really only need to check my facebook once every 2 days really, as the interactivity is just so stifled, but I would also never turn to anyone and say FB is dead. I find it genuinely astonishing when people say #GooglePlus is a a ghost town.
@marcusplugged I'm sick of no name want to be reporters telling the world they "know" anything about #googleplus Fact is only Google themselves know anything and lets face it they ain't talking. I think as a platform for engaging it's first class. I for one use it as my default platform.
I know some people have issues or problems with a lack of engagement but you got to actively engage to gain engagements and really its important that the quality of the initial content you post is even geared towards the people you post it to. I see it all the time when people just post everything to public and find no one engages with them and they them, they turn around and blame the platform.
So many people have theories and publish "I know the facts" type of articles on Google Plus, personally I think it was only ever designed as a base of a platform to be used and worked on. I think #Googlephotos is a great platform and also that by breaking it away as a possible stand alone service that conveniently ties in with the rest of Google Plus that it helps draw more people to the platform in a more positive way. I'd like to see Handouts be pushed more as a service much like Skype as I feel it deserves it.
Still, Just my two cents....
